The French Border is at only 80 km, which is comfortable for those who want to travel by car.

In 2002 the full hotel was renovated and all the technical installations were renewed.

All the rooms were refurbished and re -decorated in 2004 / 2006 for the suites.

The covered terrace was built in 2006 and the Chill out in 2012

In 1976 the Restaurant of this hotel opened its doors. The restaurant is characterized by its grand gastronomical innovation based on the French experience and use of innovative products.  Many of these originate from France which they have combined with local and market cuisine like the fish from the coast and vegetables from their garden.

From 1983 to 1992, they were awarded with a a Michelin star.
* Due do intern administrative issues the owners decided not to renew the Michelin star since 1992. But everything is still in place to obtain the Michelin Star again.

The restaurant offers a detailed menu of seafood tradition with one of the owners  as its kitchen coordinator and based on fresh products from Costa Brava where the visitor will discover excellent rice, fish and seafood as well as meat, local vegetables and  wide range of wines.


It is clear that such a refined hotel counts with an upper middle class and high end clientele who can afford room rates from 172 euro a night i(n low season for a standard room.)
They welcome a wide range of international visitors mostly from France as the French border is only 80 km away.
