These Bodegas/Winery were founded in 1991 and inaugurated in 1992. It is located in a beautiful valley of high mountains in the Almería region , bordered to the south with the Sierra de Gádor and to the north the Sierra Nevada ( Ski Resort) bathed by the Andarax River.
Only 45 km from the Mediterranean golden beaches, 65 km from Almeria Capital and 1 hour from the International Airport it is well located both for logistic as for tourist purposes.
The nearby town is a beautiful white authentic little town in the “Almeriense Highlands”, with welcoming people, unforgettable landscapes, beautiful food an delicious wines to taste and remember.
Using modern state-of-the-art facilities on a 1.200 m2 building they have the capacity to produce over a million one hundred fifty thousand liters a year .
Enjoying an exceptional micro climate surrounded by chestnut, oak, pine, poplar, olive trees, cereals, fruit trees and centuries-old vines, their wines are of an extreme high quality.
Therefore they obtained “the Quality Certificate of the Junta de Andalucía.”
The winery itself is situated in the heart of 380 hectares of vineyards, some of them at 1.350 m above sea level, probably the highest vineyards in Spain.
Using different types of grapes which they buy mostly from surrounding cultivators through a commercial ” Cooperation contract” ( commun contract in Spai amongst agricultural businesses)
for the White wines they use Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay
for the Red wines they use Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Garnacha,
On top of the White and Red wine production the Winery is a pioneer in Andalusia for the production of quality sparkling wines by bottling already ten thousand bottles a year of a “brut nature” bubbling wine using the traditional “ champenoise” method.
Their clients are all the major distributors and supermarket chains : Carrefour, Alcampo, Eroski, Corte Inglés.
Hospitality businesses and private clients through their online shops and
“Wine degustation parties” for the many tourists visiting the area ( only 45 km from the coast !!)
