Its route starts at the El Cadavíu Station and travels the old coal road in an authentic mining train. The wagons, which are exclusively designed for the Ecomuseum, maintain the appearance of those used to transport the miners. The route ascends between chestnut trees on the banks of the Samuño River until it enters the darkness of the earth for more than a kilometer through the Socavón Emilia,which is an old mountain mine from the 19th century, to disembark at a depth of 32 meters in the first plant of the Well “San Luis”. 

After climbing through the mine cage one will discover the “San Luis Well”, inspiration of the ecomuseum project. Nature lovers can explore the numerous trails and routes in the hotel’s  surroundings. Many of these hiking trails lead into the nearby Natural Parks and Biosphere Reserves.
